Jujitsu's exposure in television, motion pictures, UFC, magazines, books, and tournaments has entertained and intrigued
many; however this kind of exposure only presents the flashy, flamboyant, and competitive side of Jujitsu, painting a false
picture of Jujitsu's true nature. As we considered the idea of studying Jujitsu, we soon discover that there is a much deeper
meaning requiring dedication and many hours of practice.
The repetition of thousands of kicks, punches, and throws, the countless hours of grappling, and the constant practice
of sticking will cause many to fall by the wayside yielding to a lack of dedication. The few who dedicate themselves to the
perfection and understanding of Jujitsu will not only discover the techniques, but also themselves. The physical and mental
lessons that are learned will carry over into their daily lives.
Self-discipline, a good attitude and an open mind are essential to learning Jujitsu. As the techniques and ideas of this
system are handed down, the knowledge of Jujitsu's past and present masters is opened for all to learn. Once the spirit of
Jujitsu is developed, it will continue for a lifetime.
